The Lordelo river originates near the town of Arões - Vale de Cambra and flows into the Vouga river, in Couto de Esteves - Sever do Vouga.

Its waters cross mountain valleys, filing the granite rocks and forming water basins suitable for bathing.
Following the banks of the Lordelo river and crossing its waters, at certain points along the route, we find the Agualva Waterfall, approximately 400m upstream from the bridge between Couto de Esteves and Lourizela, which is more than 10m high and extremely beautiful. .
A natural corner surrounded by leafy vegetation that houses some species of reptiles, amphibians, birds and insects, in an enviable habitat, such as the Lusitanian salamander (Chioglossa lusitanica), the Iberian frog (Rana iberica) or the marbled newt (Triturus marmoratus).
