Barqueiro Solitário viewpoint

It was remodelled as part of a cultural project called "Three Territories, a River that Unites Us", which involved the municipalities of Sever do Vouga, Albergaria-a-Velha and Águeda.

Here stands the boatman looking out over the EN 16, the grandeur of the river and the grandeur of the bridge - the "Solitary Boatman" in his boat, an art installation by Miguel Ángel Martín Bordera.
