Sever do Vouga is pleased to announce the return of FICAVOUGA, taking place from July 29 to August 3, 2025, at Parque Severi.
This celebration, which annually attracts thousands of visitors and locals from the region, promises an immersive experience in the culture, traditions, and vitality of Sever do Vouga, combining music, crafts, gastronomy, tourism, and plenty of entertainment.
Since its genesis in 1991, then as the "Showcase of the Potential of the Municipality" (MPC), FICAVOUGA has evolved to become a fundamental pillar of Sever do Vouga's identity, reflecting the dynamism and richness of the municipality.
FICAVOUGA 2025, with free entry, presents a program designed for all ages and preferences, ensuring entertainment and discovery:
• A vast musical program that ranges from local talent – with bands, philharmonics, traditional music, and folklore groups – to performances by DJs and renowned national artists, such as Diana Castro, Tony Carreira, Irma, The Black Mamba, Soraia Tavares, Nenny, Bianca Barros, Bárbara Bandeira, Rita Rocha, Karetus, and many more, ensuring rhythms and melodies for all audiences.
• An area dedicated to the exhibition and sale of local handicrafts, where visitors can appreciate the mastery and creativity of artisans from the region, finding unique pieces that reflect the cultural heritage of Sever do Vouga.
• The traditional tasquinhas invite you to a true gastronomic journey through the authentic flavors of the region, in a welcoming environment that promotes interaction and sharing of experiences, as well as restaurants with local specialties and bars to enjoy the fun throughout the night.
• In addition to musical and gastronomic offerings, the event will include a set of cultural, recreational, and sporting activities, providing leisure moments for the whole family.
• Children's Space, with activities for infants and youths.
• Tourism & Innovation Tent, a space dedicated to tourism agents and the tourism sector, where you can learn more about the best that is done in this territory and experience some innovative experiences; such as the presentation of the New Image and Economic Development Strategy of the Territory; the launch of a new audiovisual production dedicated to promoting the destination, a virtual visit to the territory with 360º video, and tourism animation dynamics, digital area with an interactive kiosk; exploring local craftsmanship, from its most traditional form with the live construction of a Bateira, as an identifying element of the Severense culture, to deconstructed and innovative approaches.
